christmas sunrise

to see a world, down under, awakening with the robes of dawn swirling in crimson. then, pink. then, salmon. then, orange, yellow, yellow green, torquiose green, powder blue, sky blue, indigo then up above a carpet of midnight blue. it's like watching a horizontal version of an aurora borealis. it's a christmas gift like no other. i affirm and confirm that no two sunrises are ever the same. how God must enjoy his masterpieces and we mortals are captive in awe! can't wait for light to unravel to me this new place; can't wait to open my gift wrapped in possibilities, wonder, delight, excitement! als, i am a little girl again. fields of clouds lay stretched in rows. midnight blue sky reflects midnight blue ocean. wow! it feels great to be alive! it feels good to feel it again and again and again.
